Minimalism? Looking more like white-washed poverty.

Saw a video the other day, of a couple living in, either an rv - or maybe it was one of those tiny houses.  All's i know is, first thing i noticed were some dishes drying upon a tea towel, which was lain on the stove - because there's virtually no counter space.  Not safe.  Her cupboards were tiny, and few in number, so the best she was able to do was cram whatever she was able.

If one wanted to evil-surmise, one could accuse the woman of not being a good housekeeper.  But major no way.  Just having basic things, like a coffee pot, a toaster, a collander, a few mixing bowls, some cooking utensils, a few plates, cups, cutlery, drinking glasses, tea towels, dish cloths, cleaning solvents - just these, to store neatly is going to require more than two or three postage-stamp sized cupboards and two or three dinky drawers.

Forget about hanging on to even a few family heirlooms - oh wait, such a patriarchal construct is going the way of ... modest clothing - won't be much room for that either.  BINGO! But what about hobbies?  Some take up more space than others, but even a telescope, a few astronomy books and maps are going to take up space.  And forget about laying out a length of fabric to make a (full length) skirt, and sewing the pieces together.  Bingo!

The whole minimalist/tiny house scene just comes off as a piglet in a poke :/  On some other videos, the content creators were talking about municipal codes, fonancing, and depreciation of these 100k plus-sized coffins. (Are we sliding towards that godless nation, where people actually pay out the ying-yang, for the privilege of living in an area not much bigger than a coffin?)  Within a few years, when the thin walls start closing in, what of the resale?

Continuation from last post.

There's some details about those wicked cities, that the nastiness wasn't limited to using another human being for s3x.

Ezekiel 16:49-50

"Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good."

An important website needs donations, they provide

beautiful historic music for free.  The gentleman who runs the site says that he, and other musicians are struggling.  i'll bet there's more than a few listeners, who'd love to contribute, but many are struggling to keep their lights on, and put food on their tables.  Oh, just another reason to despise price gougers and other thieves - because the funds they steal, could, instead, go to things like supporting the for-real arts.

On a related note, a certain (and very wicked) group of malcontents are going on, bashing arts degrees, calling them worthless - as if pig-capalitism degrees are the only ones worth achieving.  These are the same people who lay about on their (aunt betty's basement) couch playing video games and viewing pr0n for most the day.  Yeah, those people :/

Part of majoring in art is, learning about the time period, and what sort of things were used to create the art.  The musical instruments of old don't sound the same as more recent ones. (The old ones sound way better, sound way more real.)  Meanwhile, there's a shove toward stem - i.e., how to make bu-ku bucks, building s3x robots, and, in general, coming up with more ways to confuse the ish out of people, while ripping them off - those "agumented intelligence " (AI) voices sound creepy.

Not saying all stem is rotten, but alot of it, only produces the ashy fruit of that certain group cities, which God destroyed with fire and brimstone from heaven.  (Genesis 19:28). But am saying, one has to more and more (hoop) skirt around identifying the obvious.  And by the way, in those cities, the gross sin wasn't just 5exua1; they were ripping people off, left and right - heaven help you if you were from another country.

a MAN could have had the answer, in like two minutes.

The business, had a woman on duty.  That's when i knew:  uh-o, am shoot out of luck - will have to resolve this one on my own.  While a man would have had either a yes, or a no.  She likely didn't know much more than still-in-the-1970s me.  Is what it is, (more than) some jobs men do much better, are way more competent, than are women.  DEI strikes again.

Frankly, i don't think she wanted to be bothered - especially with a probable commonplace question; one she either couldn't address, or even know the ordinary follow-up questions.  Or maybe, simply too embarrassed to let on, of not knowing the job very well.  By the way, there was nobody else in the place, and neither did she appear to be otherwise busy with another customer.  So, it wasn't that. And, no, am not going to complain to management - i.e., deal with the "your call is very important to us..." recording of yet another DEI voice.

Neither do i know the woman's situation.  Likely, just one out of millions upon millions of women, who'd much, MUCH rather be at home with her children, and or grandchildren...but alas, like so many women, forced from home and hearth, and pimped out into the workplace.

BEAUTIFUL Music Alert: Musica Medievale on the sidebar.

And not only that, it's for real.  The men and women, who play and sing the music, had evidently taken the effort to learn about the musical instruments, the language, how the songs were sung during the time period.  For real, classical music - so way beyond mere (cringy) dress up games.

Office environment - what took her 45 minutes, a man would have done in 15, if even that.

That is, a real man - not one of these "drizzle, drizzle" clowns.  Yep, have to spell this stuff out.  Anyway, the woman wasn't even sure the transaction had gone through - software, sounds like the one we have at work.  But anyway, in the (traditionally) conservative place, only a decade ago, they'd of not hired anyone with large visible tattoos - but that's everywhere in these post-Christian days; is what it is.

Purpose for this post is not to question the woman's competence.  Frankly, i couldn't help but to suspect she'd a more pressing concern - one that overrode any customer's need.  As it should be: the needs of her child - the one she is likely raising by herself; the one with whom she'd rather be home.  But hey, these are "soft guy" days... "drizzle, drizzle."  The same softies who blame feminism for their own personal drama, and that of their absent - or otherwise, worthless - fathers.

Being inconvenienced didn't stop that last Tuesday.  Have to check back in; don't care to discuss personal business on the phone (or the internet - too many reprobates...)  This means, taking extra leave from my job, burning an extra gallon of gas (and extra wear and tear on the car) paying an extra parking fee.  And yea, stopping at home first, because i only carry what's absolutely necessary in my purse (again, too many reprobates ...)

i don't blame her - not for one second.  She, like most mothers, is stuck in a place, where the Lord had never intended women, doing work of which the Lord had not designed women to be stuck doing.  Soft guy era??  Let's call it it for what it really is:  just plain shiftless (lazy).

Nope, the electronics provider does not

send itemized bills.  Why, that would entail, an extra sheet of paper.  Oh horrors, that could mean having to...to (clutching imaginary pearls) hire a few extra workers, and oh (someone please fetch my smelling salts) maybe even have to provide at least some health benefits.  But here's the real scary part, customers might actually READ over the statement, and...oh (where are those ^¤÷%# salts!!!) might even think, and consider, is this or that option, worth the extra cost.

Surely, it's not just old people who are careful with their resources.   Yeah, cardinal sin these days.  No joke!  Have seen the...well, borderline hate cross people's faces; one time, over simply  requesting to look over the machine's instruction booket - because not all sewing machines thread the same.  Yep, am one of those annoying people who keeps things neat and in order, and so assumed...

Or are people simply too brainwashed to call bs?  No, this is not a dint, people are being sold a dirty pig, in a sealed plastic poke.  Sometimes paper is better than a screen.  Paper, you can lay on your desk, and compare this month with the last (few).  Meanwhile, e-bills are prone to get lost amid the advertisements (for more overpriced crap), and worse forgotten.  People, old and young, are being pulled in about every direction - and a bill ends up late??   Each month, the way too abbreviated page appeals to ecology, to get the customer to put their financial data on-line.  Uhm, a resounding NO!  That shiola opens you up to the reprobates, out there looking to steal - instead of ... horrors, getting a real job, and following the boss's rules to keep it (coming in on time, doing the work, not using the equipment for personal drama).  Is this test hard?  Evidently...

Go to another provider?  Nope, this one is the best around.  While there are others, tell me, those others don't play the same, if not even more annoying, games with their billings.  And excuse me, but $25 for a wall unit??  Of which, come 2030 (if this old boomer hasn't yet gotten "off th' effing planet" by then) both the wall unit, and the cable won't work with the new device - while the old one was well taken care of (not abused with voluntary garbage downloads) and so, by that time, needed accessories will run close to $100.  The 3-foot cable was $20 - for a...a  wire,  HELLO!!!   The protective case was $30.  All three, made by abused workers (barricaded windows, anyone??) and all three made with materials, that might cost $3.50, if even that :/

In short, wanted to hang on to the old one, but it no longer can hold up to the unnecessary junk being fed into it - of which we have about no control. Programmed obsolescence...just waxing worse.   Meanwhile, the Bible has verse after verse, after verse, explaining why and how the Lord draws a hard line against thieves.

Boomers...

Those red pills were sure gleefull at ms.bluecollar's video.

Any other young, shapley (and barely dressed) woman, they'd of numbered her as 304, or judged her as being for recreation only - yeah, red pills, in you're dreams.  Am going to assume, she's not merely holding a stop and go sign - while the men are doing the actual road work.  And, as a matter of fact, if there's no one to hold that sign ... kaaRUNCHH!!! - somebody call the ambulance.

Am also going to assume, the obviously physically fit, attractive woman is doing, quite well, handling 80 pound...whatevers.  So, this post isn't about dogging her.  Not everyone wants office work - the drama, the instability. The fact, however is, those highly physical jobs wear out MEN, even strong men, by the time they're in their mid-50s - which is why these jobs generally pay well (as they should) and offer earlier full retirement - as they definitely should.

Am also going to assume, she's in her mid-20s.  Definitely hope to the Lord, she has other skills  soon ready - because, within ten years, she'll likely not have the strength to be lifting 80 pound...whatevers, one after another.  Maybe a newscaster position; she's a low voice - have noticed female news or sports announcers have that low voice.  Hope that's her real voice, and not one manipulated by hormonal chemicals.  Pills which may cause her trouble a few years down the road - why heaven forbid, she and her boyfriend may want to get married and, ...oh horrors, start a family.

The King of all creation did not design women to do muscle jobs.  Red pills can go tell Him, how He should have done a better job...good luck with that ;/

Learned a tidbit while in town. It's not unusual

for people to buy a new phone once every year or two.  And the phones people are financing can run close to, or over, a thousand.  It's not just the phone, the activation fee runs about $35, then there's the 5 or 6 foot charge cord, which runs about $70 - they come with a 3 footer, but if your outlet is on the other side of your table...  If you're on the go, you'd probably want one to take with.  Next year, rinse and repeat; chances are, you'll need new charger$ with the new phone.  Oh, almost forgot, the protective case will run about $40.  So, even a cheaper $400 phone (which certainly will not impress the frienemies) will end up costing towards $600.

Then there's the fake hair, the fake nails, and - lest we forget - those (abominable) tattoos; something like $1,000 for a sleeve.  i believe the fake nails run about $50 or 60, then every two weeks, the gel polish job runs about $15.  If one falls off, maybe $10 to put back on?  How often does that happen?  Anyway, hope the shop is close, because gas isn't cheap either.  The fake hair, can only guesstimate, about $90 - and i understand, it doesn't hold up - so i guess, it's a monthly $30 patch-up.  Am assuming these prices include reasonable tips.

Men don't generally go in for the $1,200 phones, gel nails or hair weaves, but men sure like those $75,000 trucks and $40,000 motorcycles, and bass boats...whatever they run.  Not sure what a super-duper wide-screen runs, probably a few hundred - that is, until the next model comes out in 2025, then 2026.  All's i know is, a young man just spent $1,800 on computer accessories - he might be a you-tuber; some people makes lots of money that way, but most not nearly as much as they'd anticipated.

Anywsy, am just wondering, how do people afford it all?  And then, on top of all that, drive late model cars - just saw an advertisement for a $75,000 vehicle financing offer.  Yeah i get it, you can get a lower interest rate - from something like 12% annually, to around 5% - by taking out a home equity; but what if something happens, and you're unable to keep up the payments?

Such is life in thi$ fallen world.  The world wants your last dollar, and your last minute.
