"Relax, we're only playing..." Ugh, sounds real enough to me. But even so, even playing witchiepoo games...

Not smart to even (vainly) imagine chatting up with dead people.  Whatever games we play, there's desire there.  People play Monopoly, because that board-game gives the players a chance to exercise capitalistic strategy - and time to be with family and friends...who are still breathing.  Some folks will do bridge, because that's a card game which high-society people are into - and others just like that game.

Anyway, that topic over there in boomer-land is still getting gushed about...ya know, the old, "I'd like to talk to Ghandi."  Oh gaag - never mind, would Ghandi even want to spend two seconds talking to you...you old has(never)been :)   How comes these washed-up witchiepoos never think of that, huh?

But anyway, demons are real - and they're real slick on playacting.  In other words, that's not Cleopatra with whom you're talking (your favorite) hair styles with; uhm  what about her favorites?   Hey, come to think of it:)  bet when the foolish fancy themselves conversing war stuff with Julius Caesar or cosmology with Albert Einstein, bet that conversation is very one-sided - and very ill informed.

  2. HMM on paranormal shows some of the mediums and rest will say don't mess with calling up spirits, that it can bring trouble. There's one show where they get rid of "bad ghosts" from the houses and she's always ordering exorcisms for people to "rid their houses" of "evil spirits".

I believe spirits could still be real even in my present heretic/apostate from Christianity self. World religions all point to spirits. I think with the study of residual hauntings, energies, there are many things humans don't understand. I am not sure about the reality of demons obviously.

I do think sleep paralysis, mental illness and other factors do point to some ghost sightings but there's a lot they have not explained.

I saw Christians who became mentally ill always feeling the demons were after them. That seemed to mess people up quite a bit. There is darkness in Christianity, which is one reason I no longer consider myself one, but I always thought the obsession with demons messed a lot of them up, especially some Pentecostal types and hard core conspiracy ones. I believe the empire of Christianity with it's hell, and more is not what Jesus desired if Jesus was a real man to preach any love.

I think it's better to err on the side of not messing with the spirit world especially if you don't know what you are getting into. It's interesting how mediums and "sensitives" on paranormal shows all give out the message that messing with the spirit world especially for ordinary people is usually a very bad idea.

  3. Yep, need to chat and there's nobody around? That's what diaries (and blogs) are for.
