Yikes, i really need to bother myself with current events. When my husband was alive,

he was my news source.  Yeah, i trusted his judgment.  Well, it's been two years, it's not like he's going to call me up from the graveyard  and fill me in on why Donald Trump is so upset with the election results.  Btw, my husband was republican - bigtime.

Well, i thought Donald Trump was just mad, because, well he's a mover-n-shaker and rather accustomed to getting his way in things - uhm, because he works at it, until he gets it.

Not that simple...so much for what i thought!

Did not watch the election results - figured it would be a few days because of the mail-ins.  Heard that on election night (am guessing around 10 or 10:30), Donald Trump was ahead in about every state, by about 5%.

As an aside, where i live (outside of a small town) the local paper gave election results.  Now, they were dated, November 4th, 10:40 in the morning, and were not official (because, i guess, the counting wasn't yet complete).  Anyway, around here, Donald Trump  had received over twice the number of votes, in all five communities (including two other small towns) than did Joe Biden receive.  But hey, this area isn't the whole US.  Just saying i live in a very republican area - yay!  ;)  ;)  ;)

So, the question had arisen, from a mind way sharper than mine (yeah, big shock ;/) but that's not the half of it, that sharp mind, said he voted straight conservative, but didn't cast any ballot for president - said he doesn't care for either candidate.  Anyway, his question concerned how the stats could just (majically) flip, as the mail-ins came to be counted - and how piles and piles of them were for Joe Biden.

Wished i'd of voted at the polls, but having wanted to vote, had settled for mail in - 2016 voting night was so dark and rainy.   And no, don't think it was just chucked in the Biden stack... well, hope that didn't happen.

Thing is, in a bit of a jam - don't trust any of the major news-sources, they've a left and newageyish bent (o-verr ).

  1. baby boomers are going to get abused and treated like garbage in the retirement homes. Literally every demographic of people hates baby boomers, white people, black people, asian people, spanish/latino people, etc. Maybe you boomers shouldn't have been so selfish and ruined your children's future with your short-sighted greed because now your children will be unable to protect you even if they wanted to. Enjoy those retirement homes, and good luck, boomers!

  2. Sue you have a spam above. You should mark it as such. I hope blogger gets rid of it because we’re all getting a lot of it.
You sound like a reasonable Republican willing to work with either side. Good for you! It has been a turbulent 4 years and I hope we can all be united again as just plain Americans.

  3. Dear Kay, yeah i have noticed the same message at different blogs, you'd think he or she would bother to word his or her anger just a bit differently at each blog. But angry birds, i guess, only know one song. Sooner or later, if the same tired tune gets too monotonous, i'll just delete.

  4. Trump may now destroy the country refusing to concede. Why are you Republican, seriously what do they have to offer you. You are older and will need Social Security soon, it won't be there if these Republicans get their way. Trump treats women like sex objects and now I have read Melania plans to divorce him.
