Ppaaartner...uh, whatever happened to husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend? Yeah, i get it...too much like gender identity.

Too much like individuality - ya know, like the Lord made each one of us, either male or female.  "Partner" is (diabolically) convenient, though a bit confusing (precisely how satan wants things) as people prattle on and on all over cyberville, My partner this, and My partner that.  Running their business all over, and yet a basic question goes (conveniently) unaddressed: is the couple married, or are they just playing house (and each other).  Does the couple consist of one man and one woman?  Basic question, nothing nosey about it.   Hey, what's your rank in the company? how much did you pay for your house?   That's nosey.

  1. What's it matter if someone has a partner? I don't get this.

  2. Dear Peeps, "partner" is a lowest-common- denominator term. And it's less than above board. There's only one legitimate sexual relationship - it's called "Marriage," and that life-long (Lord willing) relationship is between a genetic man and a genetic woman.

Partner can mean any type of here-today-gone-next-week arrangement...anything from a guy and gal playing house to ... ew, that's just gross!
