Per last post, my calcs were WAY off. An 18 inch block of rock weighs about 1/8th of a ton - a mere 250 pounds. But still,
two guys in their late 70s or early 80s. Moving a rock means bending over to deal with it. The rock they took, and put under Moses had to be high enough to not draw on his back. The seat of it had to be suitable for sitting throughout the afternoon and into evening. Moses didn't get off that rock until the sun had set.

You are going to hurt your brain trying to apply science to biblical fairy tales. I made these errors too.
ReplyDeleteDear Peeps, if i decide that Scripture isn't absolutely true, you will know i deconverted - you will see horrible misspellings on my blog, because i'll be posting from a barstool. Why not! If the Lord isn't real, then why bother with anything, even bordering on constructive. If the Lord isn't real, then it's every last freaking nickel and dime for Me, Myself and I - and f-bomb anyone else.
ReplyDeleteYep, i am not a good person, i am one of those people who need for the Lord to be there. Good thing He is real...regardless of what i think, or don't think.
