Anyway, when i use polish remover - the strong stuff, because that works to remove dark colors. When it's all off, i rub my fingers with olive oil, then buff dry with a soft cotton towel. From there, put on whatever color i choose.
And can go two weeks until it's time to remove and repeat.
Favorite colors are red, red and red. That's one thing i like about being old. i can wear red. Granted, came up from a time when red on a young woman's finger tips was considered...eh, rather racey.
But old women can get away with redredred.
I don't even use nail polish, but I've been having a problem with dry nails. I will have to remember the oil trick.
ReplyDeletePolish takes too long to dry - and you can't really do anything but sit. If i was a lady of leisure...but am not :)
