Are you kidding me!!! Local venue held a bonfire to an old norse god. Was quite a crowd,

the local paper showed a photo of the volcano-like bonfire - the logs were about 20 feet in length.  And there was quite a turnout for this 5th annual ceremony.  To say the least, was a bit of a shock, considering this area is Bible-belt - but then again, shouldn't come as a surprise...Bible-belt areas are targets, and that's only going to become more evident.  Still, quite a crowd.  Btw, the ceremony took place Saturday,  December 18th.  The place has been in business for over 50 years, so it's not some johnny-come-lately.

The caption reads the following: "crowd ... praises ...  the ... god of .., in hopes of a ... seemed to hear the crowd by blessing the area with snow..."

And yeah, there were a few people standing in front, wearing horned helmets - that's to be expected :/
