Don't like using leave, but am grateful to have it to use. Speaking of heavy rain,

i'll bet when the heaviest of it, comes through here (to start real soon, and go on for a few hours) would be more a gentle shower, compared to that 40 days and nights storm that globally blew through about 4,500 years ago.  Was thinking about that storm, and wonder...

About a week, maybe two, did the Lord send warning signs, of little off-white clouds, some rather chill winds, and slight tremors?  Reason why am asking is:  in plenty of other places in the Old Testament, there were prophets who warned the people that the Lord was highly upset with the idol worship and such - of course, the prophets were ignored...that is, at first.  Jeremiah was put in a pit and left to die - fortunately, some Ethiopian guy interceded with the king, and got Jeremiah out of there.  Micajah (I Kings 22) was put in a nasty prison - don't know if he got out or not.  Jesus said that many were killed, because they preached.  Needless to say, there were power-people who didn't want to hear it.

Somewhere, the New Testament declares that Jesus Christ is timeless and unchanging.  In other words, if there are, today, divine warnings of the wrath to come (like weird weather, really bad forest fires ... as if not enough deforestation isn't already happening and increasing) and the prophets sent in OT times, then it seems to make sense, that in Noah's time, as he preached (and he and the boys built the ark) the Lord, being merciful, probably sent climate and geo warnings.
