Yay! Found the Scripture - without google. Was listening to a sermon last night

and the preacher mentioned...well, what i thought was Corinthians 5.  I Corinthians or 2 Corinthians?  Didn't catch that part.  Here turns out, i was wrong - again ;)   Though, the Corinthians part, i did hear right.

The man's sermon was about false prophets.  The one in particular, drives around in a fancy car, wears pricey suits...while his followers live out each day in varying states of "food insecurity" - fancy word for hunger, want, starvation.   (Yeah, breaking news.)

"For such are false apostles,  deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel ; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness ; whose end shall be according to their works."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15

  1. Christians treat the poor like crap today. All the Dave Ramsey garbage and thinking it's the 1950s where every man has a good job to support a huge family and suburban house. You used to read my writings about how the poor were treated but still you followed lock step to vote for the Plague Giver and those who want more suffering for the world, and more poverty and for poor people to literally be destroyed. just wait until the unemployment ends for most next month. The Republican party's answer is go starve. Why did you vote for Trump?

  2. Dear Peeps, Dave Ramsey makes me want to run and scream. He's sitting real pretty...and telling people, who can barely pay their electric bill, to tIthe, right off the top - tIthe, even if you are in debt, because...gedda loada this: God is your first creditor. Oh, okay, so the Lord is but 1st National Bank on steroids? Uh, sounds like blasphemy...likening the Lord to a mortgage holder.
Yeah, i get it! Tithing that 10% off the top is a faithful deed. BUT, how conveniently Dave forgets, we are not all bestowed with the same gifts. Some people can tithe, other people ... it's enough of a struggle to keep gas in the car, so to get back and forth to work.
Dave Ramsey gives me the willies.
