her thoughts...yeah, geddaloada that! hesitant to post her thoughts, on HER blog! Uh, if ever there's a time when it's "all about you," that's the time. Her hesitancy was focused on the reality that her posting of her soon-to-happen death will remind people of their own. Well, ya know what! this is my blog, and i'm - so far - in good health. So, this being my blog, if i want to say that the dying lady - whether or not she knows it - is doing her readers (and she has quite a few - thank You Jesus) a BIG FAVOR by reminding them that death will happen to all of us, no exceptions (unless the Lord raptures His redeemed oudda here - oh wait, there were two men that did not die: Enoch and Elisha).
Anyway, on her blog, she was expressing her thoughts. She said, her and death were dating. Yeah, abuncha new-agey stuff - her blog, on a computer, located in a free country. Her many friends rallying around her, validating her with related new-agey stuff. Out of some 40 comments, Jesus was mentioned once. Reality is - yeah, like back in the Old Testament days - the overwhelmingly most people do not believe the Lord's inerrant Word. Oh yeah, lots of folks think the Bible is a good book, that teaches ya how to live right, but suggestions are as far as it goes.
So, the mindset there comes off as quite adamant, but in a genteel way, but still... It's like new-agey is so entrenched - ev-va-re-where. It's like, just under the very thin surface, there's deep mistrust - godda hand it to people, how they are able to keep their emotions tightly in shackles. (Never mind, half the population is half spaced out on legal dope.)
Anyway, if someone was to post Scriptures concerning eternity on her blog, that would be construed as someone with an egotistical agenda - on the blog of a dying woman. Here is where we are. Everyone suspicious, warped.
